Oliver Williams
Oliver Williams designs for film and television. Twelve years in the art department, most recently senior art director on Blood Axe S2 for Amazon, and art director on Gladiator II for Paramount.
He designed the feature Adira’s Dream, which took seven festival wins from thirteen nominations, and production designs shorts and music videos alongside the art department work.
He came to film through architecture, with a degree from Oxford Brookes and time as a draughtsman and associate at Studio Ben Allen in London. He works in Rhino as a native pipeline rather than a bolt-on, and teaches it at Guild level.
He is a multi-generational member of the British Film Designers Guild. His grandfather co-founded it in 1946. He sits on the core, steering, events and AI committees, and leads the Guild’s Rhino 3D course.
